I know it's been a long time, and I wish I could say that I'm back for good, but the truth of the matter is that it will probably be a couple of months before my life finally settles down and I can start doing art again. I've been keeping myself occupied with a variety of activities.  Nya and I have been learning to work as a team with the hopes of competing in agility.  It's been a big confidence boost for her.  She loves jumps and tunnels, is coming along nicely with her weave poles, and loves to work beside me.  It's so wonderful to see how our unconditional love for each other makes the impossible possible.  Her scardy-dog attitude, howe

Hey all, Thought it was time that I updated my journal. Life's been a little stressful as of late, hence the lack of posting, but things are starting to settle down.  I had a bout of ill rats--I found a huge gash on Ron Weasley's stomach that needed antibiotics, but still ended up with a small abcess, and Asher has been fighting a nasty (not to mention expensive) respiratory infection.  Ash is doing much better, but still has a touch of the weezies.  Ron is back to being 100%. Hey guys, Sorry for the really extended absence.  I'm been hard at work trying to finish my novel and I'm proud to say that I managed to bring it to a close.  Hurray!  Embarrassingly, I know there is a ton of work that needs to be done on it before I can even think about trying to draft up some query letters for literary agents.  Still, it's exciting nonetheless. It's my plan to tweak some things in the first couple of chapters before finally posting them for those of you who are interested. After that I'll be hard at work juggling the beginning of book two and the continued edit of book one.  My work is never done!  But I'll try to get so
